My Leadership Journey

I'm here because my goals were shared by dedicated and determined individuals who blessed me with the skills to see only opportunities, not barriers.

These people inspired me, guided me when I needed help and more importantly gave me the strength and comfort to overcome at each turn of life's journey.

I may have been seen competing as an individual but in reality I was always part of a team. My hope is to see all Pasifika people fulfill their true potential with the support and encouragement of a team.

This is the gift I was blessed with for many years and now it is my turn to share this gift of hope and encouragement with our next generation of Pasifika leaders.

From a global sporting career to forging a path of excellence for us, the next generation of Pasifika leaders, is my new journey. It's a journey I have been prepared for and one that I am ready to take.

Present me with a challenge and I will pursue the opportunity for change that lies within it. Present me with barriers and I will pursue the entry points.

Present me with opportunities and I will share them by assisting to open the door for others to come through too.

The cliché of "making a difference" as a Pacific person no longer suffices as a purpose for working and leading. We must know what kind of world, what kind of nation we want. This Leadership Programme will provide a breakthrough for Pasifika leaders who want to identify and enact the next steps in their leadership journey.
